oddly, I come to create a comic, enter the text, goto the drop down box where the images should be, and theres nothing in them, whats going wrong?
im using ie6 with cookies enabled.

Check to see that you have everything UNCHECKED under IE -->Tools -->Internet Options -->Accessibility.

Could just be you're defining your font color the same as the color of the dropdown background.
