Seriously, the random front page comic is a great way to see a lot of crap. You'll usually have better luck in some of the Comic Competitions forums. See who won or got honorable mentions, and more importantly, see which comics you liked. Just avoid committing the big faux pas there -- the group normally frowns on the ad hoc starting of contests until you've earned the privilege by winning one.
Maybe a decade ago, a Japanese video game, called Zero Wing, appeared, whose introduction contained that particular ill-translated phrase. For some reason, about a year and a half ago, that became the catchphrase of darn near the entire Internet. No, don't ask me why!
