though it's kind of a lame copyright one one joke. I mean, when someone makes a Tobor strip, do we all say, HA HA! You're so original because Tobor is a funny new thing!
Maternal Clock, Cowbow Physics of all kinds and so on have been abused to death without anyone questioning their authorship.

I think it depends on how you use them. If you do another Tobor strip where he just cornholes someone, that's not partcularly original. But I like to think that series concepts like making Tobor pregnant, inverting his personality, or putting him in prison are mildly original (at least for Tobor).

I posted this exchange to the IRC channel, because I found it funny, and Nate said that he found the idea of Shatner Physics funny, so went and did his own.

Sorry, I normally wouldn't mention something like this, but I thought it was a tad misleading of Nate to claim Shatner Physics as his own, when it was really Ken's gag. I thought (and still think) that he should have posted Ken's comic before posting his own.

Anyway, I already look enough like an uptight prick about this, so I'll shut up now...
