I'm telling everyone that I found $100. In reality I just went to the bank, at the drive-up, and deposited my check getting $300 cash back. I had asked the teller for twenties and she gave me fifties. I kept two fifties and sent the others back asking her if she could give me some twenties. Internally, I believe, she remembered I had asked for all twenties and assumed I had sent all the fifties back to be exchanged for twenties. She sent me $300 in twenties and I was on my way. Net profit, $100.

I realized this much too late to return and notify the bank of the discrepancy.

In other news, I will be taking off early to hit the drink.
