Thanks for the well-named post, DexX. I didn't want to start a new thread in order to relate this story.
I was driving along in Northern Seattle today doing a bit of holiday shopping when I saw a man walking along with the most dejected posture and expression - he reminded me of a cartoon undertaker.
He was dressed like a clown/magician. He had on an oversized fuzzy black tophat with red feather trim and long black tails on his coat - also with red feather trim. He was walking a long legged bird marionette by his side. They would have fit well at the head of a clown funeral.
Today was off-and-on mild sun. Thankfully I saw him during an overcast moment so I got the full effect. I only wish I had a camera with me so I could put a picture up for captions.
