In the plethora of guides floating around about proper 'netiquette', the one item I see more than any other is that people equate all caps with shouting.

Don't use all caps, they say. People will think you're shouting. I generally think, 'There's someone who left their caps lock key on and didn't feel like retyping'.

I noticed that you've got a few strategic points of your message you did put in lower case. Which leads me to believe that all your upper case is there for a reason.

I'm just curious as to what it was.

P.S. - If you want to get to #1, you've got to pay homage to Tobor by sacrificing a virgin to him. (You might want to talk to wirthling. He never gets any.)

Well Gabe_billings I can't speak for everyone but I use CAPS just to get my point across. I feel that it stands out more and people find it easier to read. I have had people tell me to stop shotuing at them and I just laugh at the comment. When you write without CAPS no one says stop whispering do they??? I think that by me getting to #1 it will be a huge step forward for all us CAPS users out there that scoff at "netiquette."
The time for CAPS has come and it will be a time of much rejoicing!!!!!!!!

He could be #1. He'll just have to cheat so much that any pride that he would gain from it would be lost. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the days when it was attainable and meaningful. Those were a great couple of days.
