Different countries find different things funny, Americans actually laugh when they watch "Married With Children", they just have a very different sense of humour.

I liked the first 2 seasons of Married with Children. But then like most shows it got to stupid. I don't watch much tv anymore. I just basically stare at a wall and blink nowadays.

May I distance myself from the remarks I made earlier? I was spaced out on homebrew. DNMTO.

Married with Children was good in about 1988 I think, when it was only shown in the UK at about 2am. Genius.

Y'know, this reminds me of something I did the other day. I was on WinMX and I went into this Pet Sex chatroom, my reasons for doing so were plentiful and all ironic, I don't have sex with cats. And I turned the whole room filled with dirty perverts dressed as hamsters and watching Rolf Harris on Pet Rescue, against another room I saw as I was browsing the lists "White Pride Worldwide".
I'm quite proud that I have a power within me to enspire hatred. I started a grass-roots movement, "Animal buggers against Racism" ABAR for short. And with common interests binding them together, they invaded those White Supremacists and there was quite a battle. I watched for a short while before losing interest.

I do the same thing in online games, hahaha, wearing a false turban and pretending to be a terrorist has never been funnier...

Anyway, what was my point?

When I started reading this thread I was thinking that American humour was stupid and all low-brow jokes, but then there's Swingers, Home Movies/Dr Katz and all the Jay and Silent Bob films that are really clever and I cant actually think of one Brittish comedy on that level. It's just shows like Jackass that give America a bad reputation for stupid comedy, even if it is amusing.

I love Home Movies.

And Canadian TV sucks.

Were you ever in The Who, by any chance?
