Well, it looks like this has come to a screeching halt, so I'll just post the ten rules in case anyone was curious...

[*]1st letter of the name of the backgrounds used must spell a 3 letter word. Anything that showed up in this dictionary was ok.
[*]Somewhere in the comic's dialogue or narration there must be a woman's name.
[*]Comic must contain at least 1 non-human character.
[*]At least one character must be wearing glasses.
[*]Somewhere in the dialogue or narration you must name a model of car or truck currently manufactured.
[*]One character's dialogue must be a single word.
[*]In the center panel, the character on the right must be taller than the character on the left.
[*]At least one character must be holding something.
[*]The number of words in the title must match the number of letters in the first word of the title.
[*]The characters on the left side of the three panels must be in alphabetical order by name.

Nice rules. Given a month or two, I might have come up with more than the two I definitively found (actually, I found more than that, but some weren't yours!)

Yep, I got three of them (1, 2, and 3, funnily enough). The rest were flukes. I was under the impression there was something about repetition of characters in there... can't have the same two characters in more than one panel, or something... I couldn't work it out, though.

I got #1 and (thanks to Gabe's clue of indecisiveness in judging one of my entries for it) #4, and was moderately sure of #5. Maybe now you can tell us if "cement" wears glasses.

Alas, all my Elton John titles fell on deaf gavels.

Yeah, I thought there was something to do with song titles or lyrics in there... I also suspected movie titles, especially black ghetto movies, and rap groups. Oh well. :)

1 and 6. I was pretty sure Gabe wouldn't do the movie-title thing again since it worked out so poorly last time someone used in it a Comic Contest, but then I saw all these entries using movie titles and I wasn't so sure anymore. I guess I'm not really surprised to learn any of the rules I was missing, but there's no telling how long it would have taken me to actually guess them.

Even though these contests seem often to end like this, I still think they're pretty fun. Thanks for hosting it, Gabe.
